decomposing fruit

Here are some pictures I took of a nectarine that I left to go mouldy. I think it's interesting that the mould started from one point and has spread outwards to consume half of the fruit, while the other half still looks perfect. You can also see at least two different types of mould - the fluffier, white mould, and the darker, denser mould.
